Svenska Kyrkan in Örkelljunga has been engaged to work with integration issue. In order to find new method for working with immigrant families, application to EU fund 'Grundtvig program' has been accepted. The project will take place in Örkelljunga between 2011 and 2013. The purpose of the project is to exchange experiences and knowledge between organizations and their staffs about integration of unaccompanied minors into society. Another aim is to help and train staff and volunteers to handle with unaccompanied minors.
During the project it will be 5 visits (Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Romania and Germany). During this visits we will manage to create a handbook for staff and volunteers. We will also have website that you can follow all methods and information through internet.
